Video Games Live in Katowice

Video Games Live in Katowice

Video Games Live is a video games music concert series, now touring for nearly 13 years.

Symphonic arrangements under the sign on VGL were previously hosted in such prestigious venues as Royal Albert Hall, London, Auditorio Nacional, Madrid or Palais de Congres, Paris.
15th and 16th of November the tour visited the NOSPR hall in Katowice for the second time.
The National Polish Radio Symphonic Orchestra under the baton of world-renowned conductor and composer Eímear Noone presented, among others, pieces from Castlevania, Portal, Skyrim and Uncharted; Polish listeners were delighted to hear music from The Witcher. Compositions were accompanied by the extraordinary soprano of Laura Intravia and the guitar of Tommy Tallarico – the originator of the whole event, and co-creator of music for such games as Earthworm Jim, MDK or Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater.
However, Video Games Live are not only breathtaking concerts. Guests could also watch a cosplay competition, play games in retro and relax zones, as well as shake artists’ hands during an evening meeting.

ARP Games was proud to be one of the sponsors of this unforgettable event.
